They say it takes a village… and nowhere do I feel that more than at festivals. Most moments at events the spotlight and focus is on the DJ, but the truth is, none of us get to do what we do without the teams of people behind the scenes.

To my incredible dance crew @mintentertainment.ca … thank you. ❤️ Every ounce of energy and talent you bring helps transform my live show into something so much bigger than just the music.

To the lighting and sound crews, stage builders, production teams, volunteers, gate crews, security, medical staff, vendors, artists, organizers, and every person working behind the scenes…thank you 🙏. You create the world we all get to step into for a few unforgettable days. Most people only see what’s happening on stage, but it’s the thousands of people behind the scenes who make the experience possible.

That’s what I’ve always loved most about @shambhala_mf . It isn’t just a festival, it’s a community. A family. A place where everyone, whether they’re on stage, behind a lighting console, directing traffic, serving food, or welcoming people through the gates, plays a part in creating something much bigger than themselves.

This post is for all of you.
